Its branches extend in countless directions
with information held in each one.
The trunk never moves
but its branches travel far from where they are comfortable,
flailing about in the cold wind.
As long as the tree lives
the branches will never stop growing.
The new branches will take time to develop,
and the old branches must be held onto with care.
The tree may be unrecognizable from a distance,
or from a different point of view,
but the trunk never moves.
