In Purple Tights

I guess I’ve got my swagger back.

This is the exciting week of SOFA Chicago! Unfortunately due to my current location, I’ll be missing out this time… and it’s especially upsetting because of all the radddd artists that will be there this year. Here are just a few stellar finds- hold your mouse over the pictures for artist names.

I’ve been missing glass art so much. I really do need to find a studio in Montreal.

Extend Yourself

IMG_0748

Its branches extend in countless directions
with information held in each one.
The trunk never moves
but its branches travel far from  where they are comfortable,
flailing about in the cold wind.
As long as the tree lives
the branches will never stop growing.
The new branches will take time to develop,
and the old branches must be held onto with care.
The tree may be unrecognizable from a distance,
or from a different point of view,
but the trunk never moves.
