and twitter.
i'm concerned that we are the greatest population of college educated people in human history
driving our own selves into the ground
overpopulation, mass extinction
paychecks, tho.
im concerned there are too many people talking instead of organizing
shouting in the comments section
sitting quietly next to each other on the train
emoji emoji emoji.
im concerned we focus too much on individual issues
as if they're not all connected
equality, climate change
it's complicated.
im concerned that recording ourselves is the same as being recorded
that the internet is too big
scary
we need to put our clothes back on.
im concerned that there is so much noise
we'll all lose our hearing or worse,
our listening.
im concerned i too am consumed by the culture of distraction
others' ideas that pay way into your view
and become all about you
